Nothing has released Nothing OS V3.5-250911-2112, a major software update for the Nothing Phone (3). This update improves performance, enhances camera features, and fixes various system bugs. Here are the details of the new update.
Nothing OS V3.5 offers camera and system improvements
The update significantly improves camera performance. Manual exposure control now works more accurately and smoothly. Color tone issues seen in certain scenes have been corrected, resulting in more natural colors. Additionally, the AI SuperRes Zoom algorithm has been updated to improve text sharpness.
Noise has been reduced in Action Mode, while the clarity of third-party camera apps has been improved. Contrast has been increased in video recording, making images appear less washed out and more vibrant.
Various system optimizations have also been made:
- The performance of Glyph Toys in the Glyph Matrix screen has been optimized in Multi-User Mode. A bug that caused contact avatars to multiply when adding rules to Important Notifications has been fixed.
- Haptic feedback issues experienced during the preview of Productive mode for notifications have been resolved.
- Title alignment on the “About Phone” page in Arabic has been corrected.
Additionally, the interface in Settings > Sound & Vibration > Bluetooth device registration has been improved. Battery usage has been optimized in certain situations, reducing overheating issues for a more stable experience. Wi-Fi connectivity and general network stability have also been improved, while general performance and system stability have been fine-tuned.
Nothing notes that the device may temporarily heat up and consume more power during the update installation, but this will return to normal once the process is complete.
Meanwhile, Nothing has introduced its next major update, Nothing OS 4.0, based on Android 16. The stable version of this major update, described as “refined” and “redefined,” is expected to be released soon.
The list of devices that will receive the update is as follows: Phone (3), Phone (3a), Phone (3a) Pro, Phone (2), Phone (2a), Phone (2a) Plus, CMF Phone 1 and CMF Phone 2 Pro.
